Atlantic Draws Sergeant Bluff-Luton in First Round of Boy’s Substate Basketball Tournament

(Boone) The Iowa High School Athletic Association released the Class 3A and Class 4A post-season pairings on Monday afternoon. Atlantic is the seventh seed in Substate #8 and will travel to second seeded Sergeant Bluff-Luton on Monday February 23 for a Class 3A quarterfinal. The winner squares off against the winner of third seeded Bishop-Heelan, or sixth seeded Harlan Community. Storm Lake is the Number one seed. The Tornadoes face eighth seed Denison-Schleswig in the opening round. The winner plays the winner of the fourth seed Humboldt and fifth seed Algona.

The quarterfinals are scheduled for February 23, semi-finals, February 26, and the Substate Finals are scheduled for March 2.
