(Massena, IA) — Carnival games, foam parties, food vendors, and more are on the tentative list of 4th of July celebration events laid out by the Massena Chamber of Commerce during their annual meeting on Sunday night. The Chamber is searching for volunteers as well as additional ideas for the big weekend. Below is a planned list of events for the celebration and is subject to change:
Friday, July 3rd

Saturday, July 4th
- Kegs and Eggs
- Food Vendors
- Parade
- Park Games
- Bingo
- Mud Bog Racing
- All-Class Reunion
- Bags Tournament
- Street Dance
- Fireworks

A new business in Massena will also be opening its doors in the near future. Owner Sarah Bartlett says Luxe Market & Soda Shoppe is slated to open in March:
The Massena Chamber of Commerce will meet on Tuesday, February 24th to further discuss 4th of July planning.
