(Red Oak) Two juveniles and one adult face multiple drug charges in Montgomery County.
Red Oak Police arrested two juveniles on the following charges:
*Possession of a controlled substance 1st offense, (Serious Misdemeanor)
*Possession of a Carrying a Dangerous Weapon While Under the Influence-(Serious Misdemeanors)
*Minor armed with a Dangerous Weapon (Firearm)-Carry/Transport within City Limits-(Serious Misdemeanor)
*One minor was arrested on a valid juvenile pick-up order through the juvenile courts.
Following the arrest and further investigation, officers conducted a search warrant in the 600 block of Washington Avenue with assistance from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the K-9 Unit. The search warrant subsequently led to the arrest of 38-year-old Vanessa Rene Sickels of Red Oak. Sickels faces charges of one count of drug distribution of a person under the age of 18 (A Class B Felony). Two counts of child endangerment (Aggravated Misdemeanors), and one count of harboring a juvenile runaway (Aggravated Misdemeanor).
