Bruce Steele, 82, of Greenfield, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at his home.
Funeral Services: Will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Greenfield United Methodist Church with a luncheon immediately following. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Anita at 2:00 p.m. with full military honors. Pastor Melinda Stonebraker will officiate the service. Open Visitation: Will be held at the United Methodist Church in Greenfield on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Greenfield.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family to be established at a later date.
Survivors: He is survived by his two sons, Kevin Steele of Guttenberg, Iowa and Scott Steele of Casey; seven grandchildren; sister, Sue Ellen Argoe and husband Dimitri of Mt. Prospect, Illinois; other relatives and friends.
