(Griswold) The Griswold School Board voted to opt out of S.T.O.P. training for new bus drivers for the 2025-2026 school year. The board acted on the latest business item at Monday’s School Board meeting. Schools Superintendent Dave Henrichs says the Iowa legislature passed a law last session that went into effect on January 1. The training involved a 14-hour online course and a three-hour face-to-face meeting.
New bus drivers do not have to complete the S.T.O.P. training, but must still complete the Entry Level Drivers Training program.
