(Nashville, Iowa) One person died, and two others suffered injuries in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Jackson County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 2:09 p.m. on Tuesday on 84th Avenue and 33rd Street on a gravel road. The deceased’s identity is being withheld pending notification of the family. The two injured persons are identified as 20-year-old Kaleb D. Carder and 24-year-old Alexus Woodford, both of Clinton, Iowa.
According to the report, Kaleb Carder was driving a 2001 Ford F150 pickup west of Nashville, and a non-contact vehicle owned by Jackson County was mowing the ditch. The eastbound pickup attempted to slow down and lost control, rolling the pickup.
AirCare Transported Carder to University Hospital in Iowa City. Woodford was taken to Jackson County Regional Hospital.
