(Audubon Co.) Exira City Clerk Meg Andersen met with the Audubon County Board of Supervisors this morning to discuss the East Side Drive project.
Andersen said the project is a joint city and county effort, as both share East Side Drive.
Andersen requested that the county pay for the project, with the City of Exira reimbursing the county over a three-year installment period.
The supervisors had no issues with the three-year payment plan but asked that the Exira City Attorney draft an agreement and present it to the County Attorney to move forward.
In other news, the Supervisors approved the low bid from Omni Engineering for the Mockingbird Avenue HMA paving project.
