(Red Oak) One person suffered injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Red Oak.
The Red Oak Police Department says the accident happened on Wednesday at around 3:10 p.m. at the intersection of Maple and 6th. Authorities say 55-year-old Tanya Maria Ross of Red Oak complained of shoulder pain and was transported to the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital by Red Oak EMS.
According to the report, Ross was driving a 2008 Chevy Impala southbound on 6th Street, and 36-year-old Steven Richard Smith of Red Oak, driving a 2007 Ford Expedition eastbound on Maple, struck the rear passenger side of Ross’s Chevy.
