(Adair Co.) The Adair County Board of Supervisors approved signing the front page of plans and the Road Use Agreement for the Orient Energy Center Paving Project.
Adair County Engineer Nick Kauffman said the total cost estimate is $1.6 million.
It was noted that MidAmerican Energy would pay for the materials and other related costs.
The Supervisors then approved signing the Iowa DOT Title VI Agreement. Kauffman said this is just an agreement with the DOT that says Adair County will follow the Title VI rules and regulations.
The Supervisors also received FY27 funding requests from the Adair County Historical Society, MATURA, and Adair County Tourism.
