(Atlantic) Glenwood jumped out to a fast start and rolled to a season-high 92–71 road victory Tuesday night at Atlantic.
Evan Stanislav paced a balanced Glenwood attack with 30 points, while Jack Johnson also reached double figures with 11. Stanislav buried four three-point shots and went 8-8 from the free throw line. For Atlantic, Gavin McLaren led the Trojans with 18 points, and Kale Jensen added 12.
The Rams blew the game open early, turning a 22–13 first-quarter advantage into a commanding lead behind Evan Stanislav’s 11 points. The sophomore added seven more in the second quarter, while Collin Steele provided a spark with 10 points, including back-to-back three-pointers, as Glenwood poured in 27 second-quarter points to take a 49–29 lead into halftime.
Atlantic showed resilience despite the 20-point deficit, opening the third quarter with a 14–4 run to pull within 53–43. Glenwood answered with a decisive 15–6 surge to close the period and extend the margin to 68–49. The Rams maintained control in the final quarter, outscoring the Trojans 24–22 to seal the 92–71 win.
Glenwood had scoring contributions from 10 players. Stanislav led the way with 30 points, followed by Jack Johnson with 11. Steele, Kaden Crouch, Ben Carlo, and Bohdi Langille each added eight points, while Kaden Bowmaker and Bradley Hughes scored seven apiece. Caleb Schutte finished with three points, and Ryder Salazar added two.
Atlantic also had 10 players reach the scoring column. Gavin McLaren led the Trojans with 18 points, and Kale Jensen added 12. Sawyer Tarrell and Grant Petty scored seven points each, while Gage Gross, Hunter Nelson, and James Brauer finished with six apiece. Benton McLaren scored four, Hudson McLaren had three, and Corbin Ritter chipped in two.
Atlantic (2–7) travels to Kuemper on Friday night, while Glenwood (7–3) returns home to host Shenandoah.
