(Atlantic) The Atlantic boys’ and girls’ basketball teams travel to Shenandoah tonight for a girls’/boys’ doubleheader.
In the girls’ contest, Shenandoah enters the competition with a 7-2 record. Atlantic is 4-5. Zoey Kirchhoff leads the Trojans in scoring, averaging 11.11 points per game. Katrina Williams, 9.56, and Makenna Schroeder, 8.56 points per contest. The Trojans average 47.56 points per game, while allowing the opposition to 46 points per game.
Shenandoah is averaging 52.56 points per game, led by Kayln Scamman’s 23.44 points per outing. Ava O’Rourke averages 11.33 points per game, and Sloane McGinnis, 6.44. The game tips off at around 6:00 p.m.
On the boy’s side, Shenandoah enters the post-holiday break with a record of 4-3, and Atlantic enters the road game with a record of 2-5. The Trojans are averaging 47.14 points per game. Gavin McLaren leads the team with a 15 points per game average. Kale Jensen is averaging 10.14.
Shenandoah is averaging 49.71 points per contest, led by Carter Sells, averaging 13.29 points per outing. Joe O-Rourke averages 8.14.
