(Avoca, IA) — After a rough early schedule, AHSTW Boys Basketball went 2-2 to end December including a 69-51 thrashing of Logan Magnolia in their last game before the break. Head Coach GG Harris has been focusing on improvements and one area they need to be better at is decision making
Collin Harder leads the Vikings at 12.2 points a game and has had to deal with defenses focusing on him first — Harder has become a good distributor averaging 4.8 assists a game. Harris did welcome back Kaden Jorgensen from a football injury that has healed up
Sophomore Evan Harder has been coming on strong — he has not turned the ball over and can make plays in transition. His three point shooting is still a work in progress but Harris says he is getting more confident handling the basketball
AHSTW has tough back to back games to start the new year — visiting IKM Manning on Tuesday January 6th and hosting Audubon on Friday the 9th.
