(Atlantic) Republican candidate for Governor, Adam Steen, will make a campaign stop in Carroll and Audubon Counties on Tuesday. Steen will be at the Bakery on Broadway at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, (December 30), and appear at the Santa Maria Winery in Carroll at 5:30 p.m.
Steen said he decided to run for Governor to preserve and protect Iowa’s culture.
Steen said the governor is the CEO of the state and that a good CEO must be able to do three things. The first is the ability to operate the state.
Steen said the second thing a CEO needs to be is a champion for culture across the state.
Third, is understanding the policy and working with the legislature to ensure the policy fits the state’s culture.
Eminent domain and property tax reform are just a few of the policies Steen would focus on.
Adam Steen is originally from Indianola, Iowa. He and his wife, Kasey, along with their two boys, Ryker and Maverick, currently reside in Runnels, Iowa.
