(Logan, IA) — Logan Magnolia hosted a girls triangular and a boys quad on Tuesday night.
On the girls side, the combined team of Logan Magnolia/Woodbine went 2-0 beating ATU 54-30 and beating Riverside 53-29. Mary Bowman was 2-0 with a fall and tech fall. Gracyn Stone, Sophie Joyce, Whitney Hawkins, Teagan Carritt and Cayndi Schafer all won their only matches by fall.
Riverside beat ATU 60-16. Rylei Price, Amira Wilke, Ryleigh Garrison and Abigail Hicks won their only matches by fall. Hailey Harvey won her only match by tech fall. Mckenna Dorr went 1-1 with a fall.
ATU was led by Sophia Hazen who beat Jersey Hilgenberg of Riverside by MD 14-4 and went 2-0 overall with a fall. Ryleigh Jensen went 1-1 with a fall.
On the boys side, Riverside went 3-0 in a quadrangular. The Bulldogs beat Logan Magnolia 38-32, beat St. Albert 74-3 and beat Tri Center 68-5. Drew Anderson was 3-0 with 2 tech falls and a fall. Kingston Garrigan went 3-0 with 3 falls. Rex Shanno was 3-0 with 2 falls. Jaxson Gordon was 2-0 with 2 falls. Max Shanno was 2-0 with a 5-0 win and a 12-7 win. Gaven Hackett was 2-0 with a fall in 10 seconds and a MD.
Logan Magnolia went 2-1 beating Tri Center 70-6 and beating St. Albert 71-12. Crosby Yoder led the Panthers going 3-0 with a fall and 2 tech falls. Wade Hawkins was 3-0 with 2 falls and a major decision. Tyson Jenkins was 2-0 with 2 falls. Grady Brix was 2-0 with 2 falls. Carson Edney was 2-0 with a fall and tech fall.
