(Atlantic) The Atlantic Chamber of Commerce and several families surprised Coleen Babe on Tuesday morning at her workplace, selecting her as this season’s “Angel of Christmas.”
Each year, the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce takes nominations for the “Angel of Christmas.” This year, several families, including Pam and Jim Tibken and Kim and Tucker Tibken. J.W. Fruend Farms, Cece Hensley, and Jayne Tyler contributed to the nomination letter. One young adult remarked that Coleens’ mentorship has made her who she is today. Another community member commented there are those within this town who truly fit the meaning of “the angel of Christmas” from providing meals to senor citizens who no longer can cook, providing meals for cancer patients when their energy is not there, or helping feed an entire community at the recent soup supper meals-Coleen is always there.
Kim Tibken read the nomination letter during the presentation on Tuesday morning.
Coleen Babe had this reaction to the recognition as the 2025 Angel of Christmas.

Congratulations to Coleen Babe the 2025 Atlantic Chamber’s Angel of Christmas.”
