(Oakland, IA) — Riverside hosted Girls and Boys wrestling action on Tuesday night.
On the girls side, the match of the night was Hailey Harvey of Riverside knocking off Macy Rasmussen of Audubon 10-4 in a match-up that could be revisited later in the season. The Bulldogs went 2-0 beating Audubon 51-30 and beating Treynor 51-18. Ryyleigh Garrison went 1-0 with a fall; Rylei Price was 1-0 with a fall; Sarah Cody went 2-0 with a 4-3 win and a fall.
Audubon tied with Treynor 36-36 but won on the tiebreaker. Elena Harbour was 2-0 with 2 falls; Laura McCarville won her only match by fall.
Treynor was led by Liz Young going 1-0 with a fall; Amelia Grashorn was 1-0 with a fall and Elsie Maurbach was 1-0 with a fall.
Riverside dominated on the boys side, beating Treynor 48-5 and beating Audubon 54-22. Audubon beat Treynor 42-27.
Drew Anderson won his only match by fall; Gaven Hackett won his only match by fall; Kingston Corrigan went 2-0 with 2 falls; Jack Branan went 1-0 with a fall; Max Shanno went 1-0 with a fall.
For Audubon, Landon Fermeding went 2-0 with 2 falls; Leyton Elmquist went 2-0 with 2 falls.
