(Des Moines) The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for all of southwest Iowa, effective from midnight tonight until noon on Wednesday. Northwest winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour are expected in this area, with gusts potentially reaching 50 to 55 miles per hour. These strong winds can blow unsecured objects around, bring down tree limbs, and cause a few power outages. Additionally, such winds can make driving challenging, particularly for high-profile vehicles. Please use extra caution while on the road.
