Celebration of Life Services: Will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Macksburg with a luncheon immediately following. Survivors: He is survived by his significant other Hidie Abell of Orient; two brothers-in-law, Adam Abell and wife Tonya and Andrew Carney; mother-in-law, Nancy Abell and husband Larry; stepdaughter, Dakota; two nieces, Amanda Sluyter and Andrea Carney; nephew, Marcus Carney; five grandchildren, three great nieces, many relatives and friends whose lives he has touched.
