(Atlantic) The Atlantic Street Department arrived at work bright and early, clearing the snow-covered streets.
According to Public Works Director Kirk Knudsen, work began at 4:00 a.m. by clearing the mains, and they are now working on the residential streets. “We will regroup after we have been through the first time around, and see what the weather is doing,” stated Knudsen.
Knudsen asks residents to remove their vehicles from the streets until the crews pass through. “It will be better for everyone.”
