(Oakland, IA) — There is no such thing as rebuilding when you have your entire team coming back. Riverside did not have any seniors on last year’s 8-14 team but they do want to improve that record. And they will continue to do it without much height — instead featuring an outside shooting team but Head Coach Nick Kroon believes it will be deeper
Riverside is led by Junior Peyton Amdor (14.0 ppg) who had to play out of position in the post last year because he was the biggest player on the team. Kroon says they are trying to get him some help
Junior Owen Fenner (11.8 ppg), Junior Cole Jeppesen (9.2 ppg), Senior Dawson Henderson (8.4 ppg), Senior Brody Henderson (6.0 ppg) all return and all can shoot from the outside.
Junior Cruz Jaquez provides defense off the bench, Junior Bennett Hough, Junior Paden Shechinger, Junior James McCreedy, Freshman Grant Richardson, Senior Dane Martens will all fight for playing time.
Riverside opens their season tonight against Exira EHK.
