(Washington D.C.) Representative Zach Nunn, of Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District, recently joined President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for an executive order signing of Fostering the Future for American Children and Families.
Nunn said that means they not only have access to four-year colleges but also to technical training, certificate programs, community colleges, and apprenticeship skills. He added that they also want to ensure access to affordable housing because, for many of these families, this will be their first time transitioning to living on their own.
Nunn said, “Just like all parents want to see their kids be successful, we want to see foster kids have a successful opportunity to move forward.”
