(Red Oak) Fire Departments from Red Oak, Elliott, and Stanton responded to a brush fire at 2275 B Avenue.
According to the press release, Red Oak Fire Chief John Bruce says the call went out at 5:15 this morning regarding a large brush fire with concerns that it might spread.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found a large brush pile with a hole containing dry vegetation surrounding the perimeter.
Firefighters extinguished the fire without incident. There were no injuries.
The agencies assisting included the Red Oak, Stanton, and Elliott Fire Departments, the Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency, and Montgomery County Communications.
