(Humboldt Co.) A Hardy, Iowa woman died following a two-vehicle accident in Humboldt County this (Monday) morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says 60-year-old Debora Lei Ruberg was driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee westbound on Highway 3, near States Avenue, when she lost control on the snow and ice. The Jeep entered the eastbound lane and was struck by a 2016 Freightliner semi, causing Ruberg to be ejected.
The driver of the semi, 37-year-old Austin Lee Van Klompe of Maurice, Iowa, was not injured.
