(Griswold, IA) — 2025 was a rebuilding season for the Griswold volleyball team — the Tigers snapped a 6 year string of winning at least 10 games in a season by going 6-28. Head Coach Jody Rossell says its not easy when you lose a ton of seniors from the 2024 club
Junior Amanda Houser was a 2nd team all-conference selection with 184 kills, 211 digs, and 42 aces. Junior Arika Palmer put up solid numbers with 159 kills, 168 digs, 58 blocks and 22 aces. The lone senior on the team was Kate Tischer who had 83 kills and Rossell says her leadership will be missed
The Tigers also will return their setter Carsyn Adams who had 451 assists. Rossell says that while the wins did not materialize this season they developed character on and off the court
Other starters expected back for Griswold include Addy Gade and Ailey Baxter.
