(Cushing) A Cedar Falls man suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Woodbury County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened on Saturday afternoon on Highway 20 E and County Lane Road in Cushing, Iowa. Authorities say 41-year-old Nickolas William Klein of Cedar Falls was transported by Helicopter to Unity Point St. Luke’s for treatment of serious injuries.
According to the report, a 2007 Freightliner driven by Dale Ralph Knaack of Correctionville, Iowa, entered Highway 20 traveling eastbound. Klein, driving an eastbound 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup, did not see the semi and struck the rear of the trailer. Both vehicles came to rest on the shoulder.
