(Fort Dodge, IA) — The Class 1A State Cross Country Meet is on Saturday afternoon and we will recap it with interviews and complete results at 7 pm tonight on KSOM.
The Riverside boys will be going for their first ever state title and they are ranked #1 by the Iowa High School Track Coaches Association. Haven Weers of Tri Center will be among the favorites in the race individually. Preston Kent of AC/GC and Jacob Sporrer of Logan Magnolia hav also qualified. Nodaway Valley has qualified as a team.
On the girls side, Tri Center has qualified their team, Cadence Petersen will run for AC/GC. Allysen Johnson will run for Logan Magnolia. Lilli Denton of St. Albert has never lost a cross country race and will be looking to repeat as champion.
