(Ida Grove, IA) — In a large meet of western Iowa high schools on Monday, Newell Fonda dominated the girls competition while East Sac County beat Woodbine on the boys side 77 to 106.
In the girls race, Reagan Cogdill of Woobine finished in 11th place (21:34.02). Leah Boysen had the best finish for Exira EHK in 26th. Chloe Broer of West Monona was the winner at 19:37.11.
In the boys race, Aiden Summerfiled of Woodbine finished 3rd (16:31.54); Dane Gorham of Boyer Valley was 6th (17:07.58); Owen Cogdill of Boyer Valley was 7th (17:11.84). Austin Rasmussen of Exira EHK finished 15th (17:54.71). The boys winner was Lucos Wernimont of Sioux Central (16:23.01)
