(Atlantic) Makenna Schroeder and Sawyer Tarrell were named the 2025 Homecoming Queen and King during the coronation and pep assembly held in the Atlantic High School gym on Friday afternoon. The event featured the crowning ceremony conducted by Luke Irlmeier, the 2024 Homecoming King, and Emma Winford, the 2024 Homecoming Queen.
Sixteen candidates filled the stage. The eight queen candidates included Schroeder, Taylee Hagen, Jayci Reed, Addie Freund, Lila Wiederstein, Aubrey Winford, and Lily Johnson.
The King candidates included Tarrell, Hayden Kleen, Gavin McLaren, Keston Schmitt, Alexay Garcia, Hudson McLaren, Braxton Hass, and Brock Goodrich.
Homecoming week wraps up with the coronation ceremony, parade, football game with Perry, and the dance on Saturday night.
