(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors approved a 28E Agreement with Mills County for an Interim Engineer this morning.
Supervisor Susan Miller reviewed the stipulations approved by the Mills County Board of Supervisors.
This action follows months of transition within the county’s engineer’s office. On May 27, the board terminated its contract with County Engineer John Rasmussen and placed him on administrative leave. Assistant Engineer Brandon Burmeister was appointed Interim Engineer at that time but he left the position on August 5.
Meanwhile, the search continues for a full time County Engineer.
