(Des Moines) Representative Zach Nunn, of Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District, is spending time at the Iowa State Fair speaking with Iowans like Sarah Curry, a mother who testified about the impact of tax relief on her family.
Nunn said it was important to hear firsthand from Iowans about what they wanted to see in the tax cuts that Republicans were able to pass with President Trump’s support.
Nunn planned to visit the AARP and Egg tents at the State Fair to speak with seniors. He said there is key legislation aimed at preventing scams that target and exploit older adults. In Iowa alone, he noted, more than $50 million has been taken from seniors through scams and fraud.
Nunn will also be speaking with Iowa producers.
Zach Nunn said he has had the opportunity to hear from Iowans of all walks of life at the Iowa State Fair and one of the things they are really highlighting is the investment for Iowa farmers.
Nunn has also heard a lot about the $150 billion to secure the border, secure the border agents, and stop infiltration at the southern border.
