(Area) Zion Integrated Behavioral Health Services continues to provide essential treatment and support for residents facing substance use disorders and related challenges.
ZION Integrated Behavioral Health Services, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established in 1973 in southwest Iowa to provide substance use disorder treatment and related services in Adair, Cass, Dallas, Fremont, Montgomery, and Page counties.
Billie Butler, CEO, would like to dispel any rumors that Zion is closing.
Butler said they have eight satellite offices that offer outpatient substance use disorder and problem gambling treatment in Adel, Atlantic, Clarinda, Creston, Greenfield, Perry, Red Oak, and Shenandoah. The Atlantic office also offers outpatient mental health services, and that includes mental health evaluations, medication management and individual and family therapy. Those services are offered either in-person or by telehealth.
Zion Integrated Behavioral Health Services also offers peer recovery and peer support services.
