(Des Moines, IA) — Iowa Senator Joni Ernst is expected to announce her reelection plans soon.
Ernst said that an announcement is coming soon during her visit to the Iowa State Fair yesterday. She initially said she would only serve two terms during a primary debate over a decade ago.
If she runs for reelection, Ernst will contest Jim Carlin and Joshua Smith for the Republican nomination.
