(Greenfield, IA) — During Wednesday’s meeting, the Adair County Supervisors approved the final bid for a $5 million bond for urban renewal projects. Maggie Burger of Speer Financial reported that a bid out of state at the lowest interest rate
The supervisors voted 5-0 to approve the bid. The money will be used under the county’s Northwest Wind Farm Urban Renewal Plan and will include the widening on county road N-51 and bridge and culvert replacements
Also in Wednesday’s meeting, County Engineer Nick Kauffman gave a report of maintenance and activities and said that Adair County currently has 38 structural deficient bridges which ranks 51st in the state of the 99 counties
The supervisors also approved a liquor license five day permit for the Lucky Wife Wine Slushies for Fall Fest October 2 through the 6th.
