(Guthrie County, IA) — In April, the Guthrie County Board of Supervisors prioritized the road construction project on Highway P-28 but at this Tuesday’s meeting are looking at increasing the project slightly. The original budget for the project did not account for proper drainage on the road. County Engineer Josh Sebern says its important that the road will need to be widened
Supervisor JD Kuster asked Sebern what are the advantages of widening the road
The Supervisors were also concerned about the road since it gets a lot of farm vehicle traffic on it. Total costs have not been completely finalized so the Supervisors did not approve spending the money at this meeting so tabled it for a future one.
