(Union Co) Three people were transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident in Union County Friday morning.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office says a 17-year-old female from Thayer was driving a 2014 Jeep Compass westbound on Highway 34 and moved into the turn lane to turn left and go south on Highway 169. The teen did not see an eastbound 2015 GMC Acadia and pulled in front of the vehicle. Following the collision, both vehicles came to rest in the eastbound lane of Highway 34.
The driver of the Acadia, 37-year-old Danny Fry of Creston, and two passengers; 39-year-old Stephanie Todd of Creston and 46-year-old Kylie Clayton of Creston, were all transported to Greater Regional Medical Center by medics.
