Gage Wood of the Razorbacks throws the third no-hitter in College World Series history to kept his team alive in Omaha. The no hitter was the first one thrown in 65 years. Wood also struck out a World Series record 19 batters in the most dominating pitching performance in College World Series history. The other two no hitters were by Jim Ehrler of Texas in 1950 and Jim Waxson of Oklahoma St. in 1960. Murray St. was the fourth #4 Regional seed since 1999 to make it to the Series but the Racers go 0-2.
