(Warren County) One person suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Warren County.
The Iowa State Patrol reports that the accident occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Monday on Larabee Street, east of 10th Avenue. Authorities say 38-year-old Joseph Lawyer, of St. Charles, Iowa, suffered injuries in the crash.
According to the report, a 2015 Chevy Trax westbound on Larabee Street, a gravel road with no roadway markings, and a 2000 Honda TRX ATV driven by Lawyer collided in the middle of the road. The impact ejected Joseph Lawyer from the ATV, which came to rest in the south ditch. The Chevy came to a stop on the west side of the road.
The driver of the Chevy, 18-year-old Mikaylee Nairn, of St. Charles, was not hurt. Mercy Air transported Joseph Lawyer to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.
