(Red Oak, IA) — On Wednesday, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst came home to Red Oak for an official sendoff of Hotel Company of the Iowa National Guard on their upcoming mission. She also recently visited Greenfield around the one year anniversary of the devasting tornado and participated in a Habitat for Humanity project to repair a home there. Overall, Ernst says that Greenfield has come a long way in a short amount of time
In terms of politics, President Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” has passed the House and is now in the hands of the Senate. Ernst says that they will take the House’s version and marry it with their own version
Ernst says if any policy is connected to the bill it will not make it out of the Senate.
