(Eddyville, Iowa) Authorities are still searching for a missing boater in the Des Moines River. Waylon Straube and Roseanne Benda were thrown from a boat on Sunday morning after possibly striking concrete underneath the water near 310th Street. The Eddyville man has not been found since the incident, but Benda was found floating in the river by a police drone and rescued unharmed. Multiple law enforcement agencies have continued searching for Straube since Sunday, with the search resuming today.
