Wind Advisory for Western Iowa

(Des Moines) The National Weather Service issued a Wind Advisory for western Iowa until 9:00 p.m. this evening. The forecast calls for westerly winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down, causing power outages. This strong wind can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
