(Griswold, IA) — The Griswold Boys Shuttle Hurdle relay made a statement on Tuesday night. The Tigers had been hovering around the leaders in Class 1A but they beat AC/GC by nearly half a second and assumed the top spot 1A — Wyatt Silk, Auden Wilson, Peyton Cook, and Bode Wyman ran a season PR of 1:01.50 and what’s scary is that Head Coach Andy Everett thinks they can do better
Cook is part of that shuttle hurdle team and in the 110 Hurdles he ran a PR time of 14.95 seconds on Tuesday in Audubon. Everett says he is closing in on good company in Griswold history
Everett says there were a few other highlights on Tuesday night
RJ Dishong currently ranks second in Griswold’s District in the Discus and Everett thinks he is in line to make it back to the state tournament
Griswold will be hosting their own meet on Thursday night; they will be hosting the Corner Conference meet on Tuesday May 6 and hosting a 1A District meet on Thursday, May 15.
