Lady Vikes Had Strong Night on Thursday in Home Meet

(Avoca, IA) — The AHSTW girls track and field team had a strong performance on Thursday night in their own meet. The Lady Vikes finished 2nd to Riverside but the highlight was Sophomore Bella Lamp finishing in first place in all four of her events: the 400, 400 hurdles, Srping Medley realy and 4×400. Head Coach Traye Pelzer says everybody turns their heads when she is on the track

Lamp currently ranks 8th in the state in the 400 Hurdles and looks in good shape to qualify for the Drake Relays. Another strong performer for AHSTW is Senior Loralei Wahling who had season PR’s in the 100 and 200 on Thursday
