(Guthrie Center, IA) — The AC/GC Boys Track and Field team’s strength is their depth and they are showing in their relays. The Chargers had two relays finish first on Tuesday night on the way to a team title at the Kip Janvrin Invite in Panora. One of them is the shuttle hurdle team of Jathan South, Morgun Nolte, Tate Fever and Brexton Schneider with a time of 1:03.10 — their best time is actually 1:02.72 but Head Coach Cody Matthewson likes where they are right now
Audio PlayerThe 4×100 relay is in good shape to make the field at the Drake Relays — on Tuesday night Eli Madsen anchored the team with Joe Crawford, Brexton Schneider and Kade Sorensen. They currently rank 47th in the state and the Drake Relays take 96. Madsen is coming off an injury and Matthewson says he is going to the mix in other relays as well
