(Red Oak) Montgomery County Auditor Jill Ozuna presented the county’s 2023 audit report and the CSLFRF Form at the supervisors’ meeting on Tuesday.
According to Ozuna, the report indicated that the county’s revenues for the year ending June 30, 2023, totaled $13,931,454, representing a 7.4 percent increase from the previous year. The county’s expenses amounted to $12,666,967, which was a 9.7 percent increase from the prior year.
Ozuna noted that there were no significant audit findings, such as questionable spending or travel issues.
She also confirmed that the county met all its obligations for the ARPA Report. The audit for 2024 is currently in progress.
The Supervisors approved the fiscal year 2023 Montgomery County report, and CSLFRF Exam.
