(Worth County) One person died and another suffered injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Worth County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened on Saturday, at 410th Street, and Killdeer Avenue. Authorities say 16-year-old Ayden Steele, of St. Ansgar, died, and 20-year-old Blair Hansen, of St. Ansgar, suffered injuries in the crash.
According to the report, Hansen, driving a 2004 Grand Prix eastbound on 410th Street near Killdeer Avenue, lost control of the car, entered the north ditch, struck a pole, and ended up in the ditch.
Both occupants were transported to MercyOne North Iowa.
