(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors held their first annual Employee Recognition Ceremony this morning.
Board Chair Scott Belt explained, a few years ago, the What Should Be committee formed with a simple, yet significant goal, to ensure that the remarkable dedication and hard work of the county employees do not go unnoticed. Over time the committee has refined a process to recognize individuals monthly, quarterly and ultimately each year who best exemplifies the county’s five core values: Service and Accountability, Ethics and Integrity, Job Knowledge and Skills, Professionalism, and Self Management.
