(Lewis) Iowa Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Biologist John Lorenzen has announced that the DNR will be offering spring delivery of hardwoods, conifers, and shrub seedlings during April and May. These bare-root seedlings come packaged in bundles of 25.
Lorenzen shared that the selection includes 23 species of native hardwoods, eight evergreen varieties, and 15 smaller trees and shrubs.
The seedlings’ prices range from $0.80 to $1.20 each, and their sizes vary from 10 to 30 inches. For more information, please visit the DNR website or call 1-800-865-2477. The order deadline is May 23.
