(Cass Co) The Cass County Board of Supervisors officially approved a resolution to vacate a county road easement during their meeting Tuesday morning.

The Supervisors then approved selling that bridge on the vacated road, 350th Street/Akron Road over Troublesome Creek, to John Kilworth for one dollar. With the sale, the bridge officially closed Tuesday.

Wolken said the existing bridge is 16 ft. Wide by 51 ft. long and the new bridge will be 30 ft. wide by 100 ft. long.
