(Des Moines) The Winter Weather Advisory continues for all of southwest Iowa until 6:00 this evening.
The National Weather Service says periods of snow will occur over central and northern Iowa this morning while a wintry mix is expected over southern Iowa, which will include a mix of freezing rain and snow.
Additional snow accumulations up to two inches in some locations. Ice accumulations will be under one tenth inch.
Plan on slippery road conditions.
