(Clay County) Two people died in a two-vehicle crash in Clay County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 12:47 on northbound Highway 71, which is one-half of a mile north of Highway 18. Authorities say 70-year-old Randall Scott Dykstra, of Everly, and 45-year-old Bridget Lee Baird, of Milford, died in the accident.
According to the report, a northbound 2007 Chevy Silverado pickup driven by Dykstra and a southbound 2017 Nissan Rogue driven by Baird collided in the northbound lane.
Both drivers were transported to the Werner Funeral Home.
